As soon as someone sits on the bench, the panel is activated. A remote control is embedded inside one of the bench’s supports.
The panel is designed to create a “jamming signal” at very high frequencies (20kHz and above). These frequencies are often inaudible to humans but can disrupt microphones, making it difficult for them to capture clear audio. This can protect private conversations from being recorded.
The panel uses tiny computer chips to control the system. A special sound generator chip creates the high-frequency signal. The generated signal is amplified to interfere with microphones. The signal from the amplifier passes through ultrasonic transducers (20kHZ and 25 kHz), which transmit the sound into the room. The system randomly modulates the frequency (pitch) within a defined range, making it harder for microphones to filter out.
