After the discovery of the backpack belonging to a missing person, a Canon Powershot SX270 HS was found inside. On this camera were not only the last photos from their hike but also images that—based on the camera’s timestamp—were taken seven days after their disappearance, in the middle of the night. All the photos were taken with flash, and most of them were directed towards the sky. In total, there are 100 photos, captured between 1:29 AM and 4:11 AM in complete darkness.
The installation replicates the sequence of flash-lit photos, timed to the exact second according to the original local time.
